48 Hours in Kelowna
Early May, I did a quick road trip into Kelowna from Vancouver for work and rather than hide away in the hotel room ordering room service at night, I was determined to make this not only a work hard trip, but a play hard trip. After all, it would be a mighty shame to miss out on some new discoveries. The result? Toured a few wineries, added a few new places to eat, and took in some amazing views of the Okanagan. Next time you’re in Kelowna, pencil these spots for eating and sightseeing!

Morning: Grab a coffee and treat to go at Gio Bean right at the Delta Grand Resort hotel. The highlight: drinks are made with TRIPLE espresso shots. Now that is my kinda caffeine fix.

Lunch: Head over to The Bike Shop Cafe where vintage bikes hang from the walls for made to order fresh lunch fare.

Then head down to Salted Brick by the Kelowna waterfront for happy hour. Grab a glass of cava for $5, a meat and cheese board on special for $10, as well as buck a shuck ($1 oysters) from 3-6 pm. You won’t be able to miss the huge fridge by the front where you can take home their house made charcuterie and local cheeses.

Afterwards, grab an ice cream (so many flavours!!!) at Moolix right next door and take a stroll along the waterfront boardwalk.
